M4H P52 Theme Little And Small Eye Candy and a Winner
Another awesome week, with another fun theme, and more of your beautiful images.
I have been slowly taking (and editing images) yay! We are almost 18 weeks pregnant now, and I have totally hit the honeymoon pregnancy phase. I am trying to play catch up while I get this wonderful second wind of energy lol! Here was my Little and Small image. This is my oldest daughter Lily. Technically I went for a smaller scale. She also, however, just turned eleven in late May so it represents a bit more for me as well. I still see a child Sophia’s age at times when I look at her. It seems impossible that she grow so very quickly!
This theme excited me because of the possibilities. There were so many ways to run with it and a little something for everyone. As always, I am completely blown away by your creativity. I am always amazed at how many voices and perspectives there are in the community and in our group alone.
The Winner will grab a $40.00 Gift Card to my shop towards any processing goodies of their choosing. There is a brand new actions release getting ready to be announced soon, so if they would like they are welcome to choose to wait for that instead.

My daughter and I went for a walk tonite to escape the craziness that her siblings had made of our evening, and we found this little spider spinning upside down in the evening sun.

Sometimes, in my relationship with my husband, it’s the little things I do that puts the smile on his face. I love him very much even when he asks me to make him a coffee late at night 🙂

It’s the little things: waking up to the sound of 2 small voices through the monitor. Big sister reading a story to little sister (who is quickly outgrowing her crib). Little toes peaking through the slats, little hands reaching to turn the page, little one still clinging to her blankie and pinkie, little hairs askew, and this little relationship (a sisterly one I never had) growing and changing into something simply beautiful.

They may be little, they may be small…. but to Bella they are real. She rescues them, nurses them, trains them, feeds them. They are her babies. Once they are fully recovered, she returns them to the wild…… oh to have that imagination again, just magical.

These are my littles: little and small. I wish they could realize how lucky they are to have each other. this is a rare moment of togetherness for them, and usually they’d be fighting about “not wanting to touch either” (you other moms of close siblings totally get me, right?!).. but it was so sweet. I then noticed that Ella started to draw with her finger on Adi’s back.. it was so sweet…. and this was the result..

This past week my daughter was the flower girl in her Uncle’s wedding. She stood in front of the same window that I shot the bride. She’s so little now, and doesn’t even know what a boy crush is (except daddy of course). But I just know I will blink my eyes and suddenly see a beautiful bride before me. *sigh*

these sneakers tossed over the phone line seemed so little and small compared to the gloriously huge sunset behind them; but they made such an impact in my photograph.

My anniversary is this week- My husband is my rock, my love, my supporter. He brings me comfort, laughter, peace, and sometimes a headache (shhhh- don’t tell!;)).
These tiny bands symbolize such a great love; a love that has changed my life; a love that cannot be expressed in words.

There is something about the ocean that makes me feel how big the world is, and how small my part is in it. It is a good reality check for the self absorbed 😉

On the weekend we visited a heritage park which depicts a 19th-century village in Upper Canada. It has authentic buildings and reenactors who depict what life was like in 1860. These shoes where hanging in the shoemakers store. They were real shoes children would have worn in that time period. Sometimes it seems like so much has changed, that we’ve made huge strides, but then you see something like this and you realize how little things have changed — there will always be small children in need of small shoes. Thank goodness.

I often wish my daughter would stay ‘little and small’ forever! I absolutely love our fun sessions together. It’s our special time – I hope she never grows too big for ‘camera fun’. 🙂
