What a Year! What a Year! 2011 in Review | Colorado Custom Photographer

These posts are hard. It is SO hard to pick and choose what to feature and what favorites to choose. I have been blessed to stay VERY busy. Busy is great because I get to meet a lot of amazing people, take lots of photos and really pursue my photography goals and dreams in the process. Hard because there are SO many photos to cull through to make this list and my goodness I don’t want to leave any details out! As you can tell by my lengthy over the top blog posts from my sessions I have a wicked time just choosing session to session let alone photos from an ENTIRE year!

This year has been so incredibly eventful. There have been so many exciting and bittersweet changes in our lives! First and foremost for those that don’t already know we decided to relocate in December of this year from Mystic, CT to Fort Collins, CO. Both are amazingly gorgeous but we needed a change and I am so happy we decided to hit the ground running because it is absolutely AMAZING out here in Colorado! If you haven’t ever been here PLEASE at least once in your life make a point to come. It has such a majestic and nostalgia I can’t begin to describe. It just fits us. I feel like we really belong here! I can not wait to get to work this spring and start taking sessions (and yay because we already have some peeps on the books!)

I have been scouring the internet for blog frames or other snazzy and pretty ways to display the photos so I could fit it all in but I admit I just get sidetracked and overwhelmed and end back up at square one so I am going to have to limit the amount of photos I post. I have decided in lieu of that I would just post some random favorites from various sessions to stay on track other wise I worry I may never get this post up lol!

So here we go!

Phew still with me?! Quite a year huh?! So excited to see what 2012 brings!!

No Small Measure of Cuteness | The Measure Commercial Shoot

My, Oh My does The Measure make some gorgeous clothes! You have possibly seen me post in the past with other dresses she had sent me..CUTE!! I was so excited when she contacted me to send another dress to play with! Her style is right up my alley. I love that it is SO versatile. I especially recommend it for photos. The colors, the cut of her clothing it is just bliss!! This dress in particular seriously almost seemed to be made for my Sophia. The loud fun colors, vintage touches and adorable pattern was playful and sweet just like her!
