Crowning Glory | Waterford, CT Photographer

These cuties were participants of my Little Miss M4H contest earlier this year. Their mama traveled out to me from New Jersey. Let me just tell you. They are one special family. I adored these little princesses. So much personality and their mama has a heart of Gold. Without being to personal she really inspired me with some of her struggles she shared. She is a huge supporter of the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep organization. I did link them but know that this site is powerful and emotional and not for the faint of hear. Proceed cautiously. Especially if you are an expectant or new parent or have dealt with the loss of a child.

Actually the timing was crazy because I had just been doing a bit of field research prior to our session and have been considering getting involved. For those that do not know about NILMDTS they are a network of professional photographers that go out to the hospital and photograph the last precious moments a family gets to spend with their newborn. It is the one gift I believe that you can give a family that will continue to keep on giving forever. If I can work up the courage I may definitely pursue this some day.

I will be mailing these off to you super soon Miss C but I wanted you to see a glimpse of whats coming! Thank you so much for coming to me. It was such a special session for me. You have two of the most precious girls I have ever had the pleasure and honor of photographing!

Thanks again for sharing a bit of yourself and your sweet family C! I know I took more then you will ever know away from our session!

My cup runneth over. Thank you so much for taking the time to point out an organization that I have been trying to advocate for due to the precious gift I received from them. How wonderful that that gift has led me to you as well and the precious gift you have to give. You are a special, special lady and you have one very lucky family to have you to love. Thank you for showing the love my girls have for each other, hopefully other families can see too that life goes on to every moment you see above even after such a huge loss. Those pictures from NILMDTS honor my tremendous loss, yours honor my tremendous gifts and I love you for it.

I agree that the NILMDTS organization is just amazing. I think it is such a wonderful gift that artists can give to families that are losing something so precious. So many of the stories I have read and heard have the same tone – we never realized that a precious gift it was at that time but now having the last photos of their angels are more precious that they ever imagined.

I know that Boston area coordinator who fields all the Boston calls and send out the photographers (many of which she photographs herself) to do the sessions if you ever want to speak with her to get more information about it please feel free to let me know and I can connect you with her.

I feel like your photography just keeps getting better and better with every session {not that it was ever bad to begin with}. It’s so refreshing…beautiful.
