Love. | Madison, CT Family Photographer

I think I am almost caught up with blogging. Not editing of course. But blogging! Yay!

This session was at a totally new location. I wasn’t sure of what to expect as with all new locations but the photos online looked beautiful lol. I didn’t have time to scout unfortunately so I had to put all my eggs in a basket and hope for the best. We got there closer to sunset. It wasn’t to hot but the beach was incredibly crowded. I was a bit worried that we wouldn’t be able to find a spot to really give these photos the “feel” I was going for! There is a VERY long boardwalk that reaches down both ends of the beach though so we kept on trekking till we found just the right place. The boys were a bit shy but I got them to warm up to me and their little princess “C” seriously could have been a baby model for a Gap ad. With two super gorgeous parents in the mix I knew that we had potential times a million. As we got farther down the beach the crowds started to thin. We found a cool little bike path area and then a very non busy section with a pretty sand dune and started to snap and I seriously think I got one of my favorite sessions ever with this family! You will totally see what I mean!

Ha! Sorry for the overload! Picking favs isn’t a strong point of mine!

Stunning! You got your workout with this one. You must have been knee high in the water and laying in the sand for some of these. I have so many of your action sets, did you use any of them here. How much direction do you give your families, or do you just let them be and shoot?

Swooon. Gorgeous family, light, and location. And I’m totally jealous! That’s where I’m from. My husband and I both went to high school and lived in Madison. It’s beautiful there!
