It’s been weeks since I uploaded my last photo. My mind has been smashed. I packed my life into boxes and two suitcases. I left the boxes back home in Sweden and brought the suitcases with me to Santa Monica, CA. I will live here for a year to study photography at Santa Monica College. I’m excited and scared!

Today I took the bus to Hollywood and to see the kids having a blast in the fountain was my favourite thing about the visit!

My 3-year-old randomly decided to eat her breakfast of “cut-up peaches with NO SKIN” with a fork while perched on the kitchen counter. Some days you just have to say, “yes!” 🙂

So many random things packed into our crazy blue rental on the river this weekend. A giant Mardi Gras mask in the entry way, flamingo lights in the living room, a voodoo mask in the atrium, and so so much more all layered on top of blue walls, blue chairs, and a blue microwave!

Random lightning and random colors with auto white balance. This is my first attempt at capturing lightning. My settings were probably all wrong but I enjoyed watching the storm and trying to catch the bolts made for good sport
