While out on an excursion to Frys Hut with my eldest girls kinder group I momentarily lost track of one of the twins. I figured she was in the hut, so I wandered through & found her in this little room, just sitting there in the light, peering out the window…. One of those moments you just know you have a picture, all you have to do is take it… So I did.

“Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Glory to the Newborn King” This season is filled with poetic sights and sounds. Simple things like this 30 year old ornament fills me with nostalgia and warm feelings. There is something so beautiful about this time of year and all the stories. The Christmas story, my story, my families story is poetic.

For as long as I remember he has had a passion for poetry and literature.

We used to read to each other every night when I was young. One day he bought me this book. Alice In Wonderland. I loved reading to my dad each night and discovering this land of make-believe and imagination.

This will be a book that will always have a place in not only the bookshelf, but in my heart.
