M4H P52 “After 5pm” Winner and Eye Candy

I have gone back and forth on the winner this week. SO hard. I decided to choose two since they both just really captivated me and I couldn’t choose. I don’t know who I am kidding though. The winner is always open to interpretation and you are all pretty dang awesome, so know that even if you aren’t featured a week at all you are still SO appreciated here, and it wasn’t because I didn’t want to feature your image. It was because I tend to pick so many photos already I can’t feature everyone, every single week. There is just so much talent, so many voices and so many perspectives. I love having your images in our group, so Thank You!

I had plans to do a little evening shoot this week and had it all mapped out in my head. But everything just got so busy suddenly that I didn’t have time to go and carry out my ideas.

Hopefully I can go back to normal next week…meaning tomorrow, meaning the first day of my final year of undergrad. I’m so scared, yet waiting for it to start, so that it can finally end.

Lol.

Anyways, off to enjoy my last hours of freedom hahaha.

Ferris Wheel at Silverwood – Each year we take the kids to Silverwood for a day of fun the week before school starts. It’s a perfect way to end the summer. This year, while the kids were on the rides, I started experimenting with aperture settings on my camera. I was thrilled with what I was able to get! I used no editing or filters with it. SOOC.

Most of our evenings have been spent looking for Monarch caterpillars for our daughter’s homework as they are learning all about the Monarch butterfly. We took a trip to our area’s nature center and took a hike around one of the open fields. We didn’t find any caterpillars but there were quite a few Monarch butterflies!

Week 36/52
We are spending the Labour Day long weekend in the country. It is so peaceful and beautiful out here. We explored the country side last evening and past acres and acres of sunflower fields, corn fields, horse farms, dairy farms and alpaca farms. We have been enjoying taking in all the country sights and I’ve kept my camera at the ready.
