M4H P52 Theme My Daily Routine Eye Candy
I love that we are all really getting to know each other through this project!! I find projects are SO hard to manage sometimes. You start out so excited and ready to go and sometimes even weeks in your begin to sputter out (or I do at least!) So it is wonderful to really keep each other going and hold each other up!
Lots of gorgeousness in the Flickr pool this week so let’s dive right in!

My daily routine begins and ends at this sink in our tiny kitchen (which I LOVE). It’s my time to prepare for the day ahead and then reflect at day’s end. My spot of serenity π

They love to catch bugs during our daily walk in the woods. Of course, they release them at night. This pic looks so much better when it’s bigger.

Most of my routine consists of keeping up with these two little boys. It doesn’t always involve jumping on the bed but we are stuck inside due to ice (instead of snow…boo) so I caught them getting a little energy out π

Kindergarten. It has become a big part of our routine this year for my youngest. Some days this routine is harder to stick to but with time, hopefully he will get accustomed to being a big kid. =)

I have an extremely unusual job that entails me flying back and forth from NYC to Palm Beach twice a week in the winter. So this is my view quite often. Today was a bit of a shock going from 80 degrees in the morning to 20 degrees in the afternoon. Brrr!

52 Week Photo Challenge
{Week 3 Daily Routine}
I have been trying to make a conscious effort with outside playtime every day.
Australian weather has been wreaking havoc in the last few months. We have gone from bushfires to floods. Our once dry creekbed is now flowing again and so outside we went for our playtime today.
No toys required, only nature and big smiles.

My Daily Routine (4/52)
Primary challenges of my morning daily routine: waking my 6-year-old, attempting to create a breakfast that appeases her palate, and ensuring her teeth are clean. My not-even-two year old on the other hand, would “brush teeth” all day if given the option. She climbs right up to the “kid’s bathroom” sink and helps herself. Witnessing her mimic the “big kid” world brings me smiles every time – a bright spot in the crazy routine.
*Used the “Molly May” LR preset and finished it up with “Dream On” in PSE

It may sound odd, but when the weather permits (and obviously sometimes when it really doesn’t), this trampoline is a big part of our daily routine. I swear, this kid bounces more than she walks–trampoline or not.

My Daily Routine 4/52
For 12 years now my {daily routine} has consisted of making breakfast for my four kids. To be honest I’m not sure I even ate breakfast before I had kids! Whether it’s bacon and eggs, a huge batch of pancakes for a bunch of boys that have slept over the night before, a banana and a piece of peanut butter toast as they run out the door late for school, or a green shake once or twice a week, there is always something for breakfast at our house.

routine 4/52
This week our routine can be summed up with one for word….jet-lag. Our bodies want to sleep when it is daytime and be awake when it is dark. My little one cannot get past 5pm before she drifts off to sleep as soon as she stops for more than a minute.

“Daily Routine” – Project 52 – Week 4
Every night before bed the four of us get in my daughters bed and say the Lord’s Prayer together. It is my favorite part of my day because no matter how hard of a day it’s been I feel so blessed to hear my little’s praying along with us.

“His Side of the Bed”
My daily routine: going to bed and waking up- alone. My husband’s job unfortunately takes him away from home for months at a time (6 to be exact). My children and I spend a lot of time just waiting for his bi-weekly visits on Sundays (sometimes weekly visits if we are lucky). Today is our Wedding Anniversary and Thursday is his birthday, neither of which we will be able to celebrate together, for yet another year. I feel like this photo really represents how I feel at times, empty and gloomy. My husband really is my best friend, I know, it sounds so cliche, but it’s the truth.
Thank you so much for including me in your eye candy! It’s an honor!
yay! super excited to see naptime on the blog! π
How incredibly inspiring! These photos make me want a family of my own so so so badly!
Amazing moments. Amazing memories. Amazing images.
So excited to be included this week!
