Fashion Favorites | Children’s Clothing Inspiration

I have been wanting to pull this post together forever. I get so many wonderful comments and compliments on our littles wardrobe and even though many of the places I shop seem obvious I thought I would show some love to some of my favorite boutiques and places to shop for my sweet kiddos.

    Top Ten Favorites.

    1. Zulily. Most know about this website (I hope.) It is a flash sale site featuring brand spankin’ new sales every morning at 9 am Eastern time.  They feature clothing companies large and small ranging from adorable boutiques to major brands and all at a steal! It can be extremely addictive though.  You have to grab things in limited quantities before they are gone and being two hours behind Easter time here in Colorado I do have to scramble some days lol! Some of my favorite boutiques they feature are Georgia Grace, Baby Sara, BeetleJuice London, Sophie Catalou, Pop Couture etc. Now I have found they do have WAY cuter stuff for girls then boys but they do on occasion get some great boy’s stuff too. You just have to keep your eyes Peeled!!

    2. Hautelook. Another great Flash Sale site. They run very similar to Zulily but don’t have as many kid’s sales. I will say though they have wonderful prices and are a Nordstrom company. They also get some great stuff in for home and women as well!! Their shipping turn around is much quicker then Zulily sometimes too. The other good thing is they feature some of the same brands as Zulily so if you miss a sale there you can sometimes catch one here!

    3. The Measure. BEAUTIFUL girls clothes. The Measure has a vintagesque feel. Her pieces are well made and one of a kind! I do some commercial work for her BUT I personally endorse her. When I am not shooting commercially for her I do buy her pieces with my own hard earned money!!

    4. Little Jules Boutique. Amazing boutique with so many gorgeous brands including Persnickety, Mustard Pie Clothing, Joyfolie Shoes and Giggle Moons. She has an amazing selection and if you connect with her fan page HERE she runs frequent giveaways!

    5. Zara. GREAT Boys clothes especially. It is SO hard to find great things for boys. I shop here for my little men often!

    6. Snazzie Drawers. I had a dress made for Sophia recently and it is absolutely incredible. It way surpassed my wildest expectations. I plan to return soon for my older daughter Lillian! She also offers patterns for those that can sew (which I cant lol!)

    7. Lillipops Designs. PRECIOUS PRECIOUS girl’s dresses. Absolutely amazing attention to detail and they are so well made!

    8. JCrew (Crew Cuts). I admit they are pricey so I don’t shop as often as I like but they have fabulous sale prices and really great clothing for boys and girls!

    9. Gilt.com. Yes, yet another flash sale site. A little more pricey but they get some beautiful stuff in!!

    10. Forever21. For my oldest daughter Lillian I LOVE Forever 21. They have some great pieces at amazing prices!!

    Honorable Mentions:

Target (for Toddler girls the girls section and boys section seems to be hit or miss for me.)

Childrensplace. GREAT Pieces and great sales. I shop there frequently.

Old Navy and Gap. Sales are great and they have adorable collections and easy to put together ensembles.

    Etsy. Great for accessories especially.

H&M. Wish there was one closer to me here but I used to shop there religiously when we lived in CT. No online store though boo.

TJ Maxx. Can’t shop online but they have some fun stuff now and again. So does Marshalls (owned by same company)

A note on how I shop for clothing especially concerning photos.

I stay away from logos or anything that may date the photos too much. I  am not a big fan of character type clothing (for example a t-shirt with Dora or Sesame Street plastered all over it.) I admit to being a bargain shopper but I don’t mind splurging once in a great while if I have a huge concept in mind and I honestly would rather shop from a small business then a huge corporation anyday because I love supporting small businesses. I am sure I am forgetting someone and I apologize if I am a frequent shopper and you see this. It isn’t personal. I am just a total scatter brain!
