me…way too close for comfort. Someday I will look back and appreciate that at 32 I only had little wrinkles under my eyes and the only slightly imperfect pores. I know I will appreciate my eyes the most as I am sure they will fade with age.

It is times like this, that I wish I had a macro lens because of what I really wanted to do. But, you have to make do with what you have in your bag. I love how dramatic the lighting is in this photo. It was after 5 p.m., so the sun was starting to sink and the light in the livingroom was starting to fade along with the sun. I think this may be one of my best photos to date.

You couldn’t get any more up close and personal to me than this right now.

This is me with my little Coco for our last ever photo together.

Last week, our little girl suffered from a major seizure and has not recovered from it well at all. She has lost all sight and most likely suffering some brain damage.

Today, we are taking her to the vets to give her, her furry doggy angel wings and to relieve her of any discomfort.

I feel numb, I feel angry, I feel helpless, I feel sad, I feel anxious, I feel sorrow, I feel self pity. I feel HURT.

But I take comfort in all the happy memories and remember how beautiful and important her companionship has been to me over the years. I will miss her so dearly.

Forever in my heart my little furry friend. I love you xxx

Before this day hits 88 degrees I was up early watering the bromeliads when this little girl flew out and presented her “personal” self to me! We have done a bit of reasearch and found out that you can tell the gender of a tiger moth by the spot/webbing on the wings ….. and not by its booty as we thought … didn’t expect I would learn that from a photography project!!!!!
