This has become the favorite place of many of our family and friends. The kids (& many adults) love the swing, but certainly everyone’s favorite is the outdoor movie setup just to the lest of this tree swing. Sadly, the movie screen is down for repair, so it didn’t make this shot. With Fall just around the corner, we are all anxiously awaiting the return of movie nights at the farm!

I love this spot in my house…we call it the second living room because we really don’t know what to call it. The lighting is so cool at the Golden Hour and I often find myself photographing my son in this room. This was edited with Noire from one of My Four Hen Photography’s collections.

my fiance and i decided (rather last minute) to go ahead and have a small civil ceremony. we planned to have it at a local park near the beach, a place that is not only beautiful but holds a lot of memories for me as well. then hurricane isaac came along and flooded everything and downed enough trees to put every local park (there are quite a few) out of commission for the next couple of months. for the last week i have been racking my brain trying to figure out where we would have the ceremony, and with only a few days left to decide i finally remembered this little spot. i took the kiddos there yesterday to check it out and am so happy to say that i have found our spot.
* i have been a very bad photographer, only participating in P52 a handful of times this year. i am happy to see though that this image fits in perfectly with this week’s theme of places & spaces 🙂

I love this place, we call it the secret forest as hidden among its trees and plants there are exciting things for the children to find! With Autumn coming I’m even more excited for the oranges, reds, yellows and browns that will envelope this place.
