Facebook Friend of the Week | Megan Arts Evans Photography

I am so excited to be starting this up again! I attempted to do this the very end of last year but time got the best of me and I had to cull back on some personal projects. I absolutely adore all the photos and kind words shared on my fan page and as a small way of giving back and shining some light on the gorgeous images you share on my wall I am bringing back Friend of the Week. Its completely random. I just pick a fav photo someone shares (and its no easy task I promise!) and then contact that person directly and beg permission to feature them lol!!

You can find the fan page here if you are interested in being featured yourself!

I will be choosing every Monday for the feature to go up Every Wednesday of the week. This week I have a very special lady to show off!

Miss Megan Arts of Megan Arts Evans photography is not only talented but genuinely sweet. She shares so many beautiful images on my wall. She shared a photo using my presets this past week and the personality was just perfect! Her own little one totally reminds me of my Sophia. You can find her website HERE and her fan page HERE. Feel free to pop on over and say hello!!

    Here is her precious image!

And here is what she had to say:

I used Clay II (Deeper Black) from Happenstance on the photo on the left and No Frills from Serendipity on the photo on the right. I love My4Hens Presets, especially the black and white ones, because they do the most magical things to my photos. I don’t do a lot of editing to my images, usually just some tweaking. (I don’t even use Photoshop although I have plenty of Sarah’s actions) But when I want to take a photo black and white, My4Hens Presets have the right amount of contrast and brightness to really make my photos pop. My little girl in this photo as incredible blue eyes and making the photo black and white could have easily taken away from her eyes. But Clay II made them even more intense. And I love No Frills because it does just enough, just like the name suggests.

The other reason I love Sarah’s presets is that they seem made for a photographer like me – someone who is capturing life, preserving moments and freezing time. They’re made to enhance, not overcome your images so that the image still speaks for itself. And she gives them such fun names. How could you not like them? As you can tell, I’m a huge fan.

Thank you SO much Megan! I so appreciate you sweetheart!! I will be sending you a $10.00 gift card to the shop by the end of this week as well for allowing me to feature you here!!

I hope everyone enjoy’s this small token of my appreciation. Please keep sharing on the wall as you never know if you will be chosen! I will definitely be catching up on Facebook soon!
