Facebook Friend of the Week | Summer Murdock Photography

I am so excited about this week’s Friend of the week!! I usually do these on Wednesday but couldn’t hold off until next week!

This sweet feature is one of my favorite people on Facebook miss Summer Murdock! I LOVE her work so much! She’s been participating in the P52 and every week is a treat so when she gave my actions a whirl I was besides myself!! I just adore her images!! Here is what Summer shared and had to say! I don’t remember exactly what I did to these images. I always tweak a lot especially with backlit images but I know I used “set the mood” turned off boost highlights , brighten, and turned down the opacity on fill light. Ran “pop my backlight” (can’t remember what set that is from) turned off “more yellow’ and “lighten midtones” and turned down opacity of “stark contrast” and “bring out the detail”. I LOVE that action on my backlit images. Then I ran “sweet solace”, “group me” and turned down the opacity to about 50%. I then added a little haze, brushed on a little brightness and darkness where needed, sharpened and voila!
