  2. A Grateful Heart | Fort Collins, CO Family Photographer

First let me warn ya! This is an image heavy post! This family was such a muse and their little girl who happened to be my Sophia’s age could have been her doppelganger! They would get along beautifully if this family was local.

Any opportunity I get to spend in the mountains of Colorado, I gladly accept. When my clients are willing to trek it up that way for a session I am that much more excited. Especially when that family is completely open to anything that comes their way. The minute someone tells me “And I don’t want any photos of us all looking at the camera!”, I know this is going to be my cup of tea. And oh, we had so much fun. There was snowball fights, a bit of cardio and hiking up and down what was deceptively a “small” hill but turned out to be fairly large (for the adults anyway haha), and the prettiest light. Oh, the light. It was magic this day.

I have had the honor of photographing the most wonderful families. I get some rad ones and this year is going to be beautiful and well… busy.

So let’s kick off our first mountain session of the year. I can not wait for many more!

I give you the gorgeous Anderson family of Austin, Texas. (Side note Mom is a pretty kick butt photographer. You can find Pinkletoes if you are from that area. I highly recommend looking her up. She seriously is just as kind as she is talented!)
