M4H P52 Festive Winner and Eye Candy

For a girl who surely loves Christmas and all the celebration and tradition it brings I admit I haven’t even gotten our tree or hung a bit of decor. I could blame it on having a newborn in our home but the truth is I am just a wee bit overwhelmed. Going through our flickr pool for this past week’s theme pretty much did the trick. I am ready to go to the Tree farm NOW. Unfortunately it is freezing outside so I am going to have to wait till tomorrow when the temps are just a bit higher. You are all as always simply amazing and the images were breath taking. I can’t wait to hop right in so here we go!

It’s a snow day here in Manitoba ~ no school for our kiddos. Went outside and despite the very cold temperatures, the kids still had a ton of fun in the snow. I, on the other hand, FROZE. I thought this image looked pretty “festive” for the theme this week.

We don’t usually decorate this early so I don’t have a festive atmosphere in my home. But I’m preparing for a holiday party that I’m on the preparations team for and pre-made our craft. I’m loving the mason/ball jar trend this year and I think this little snow globe turned out pretty cute and festive.

OK…I realize the intent of this theme was probably Christmas festivities, but around here we must first celebrate our December birthdays. This little peanut turns 4 in just a few days! She was actually due on my birthday, but made her appearance 4 days early. Happy Birthday to Hannah, my favorite almost 4 year old! She is the sweetest, most thoughtful, shining light in our lives. We are so grateful for God’s gift to us!
