What Childhood Looks Like (in film) | Personal Alert

I have ventured out of my comfort zone to shoot film lifestyle images of my family. There is such a purity. There is so much soul in every image. In every frame.

It feels amazing to finally have imagery that really suits the emotion and mood I strive to capture without having to alter or edit anything in Photoshop. Yes. These are not edited at all. Whether we are hanging around the house, or adventuring somewhere here in Colorado I find that these images really embody the very soul of my children, and myself.

And this is childhood. This is what childhood looks like from day to day in our family.

    1. Holy cow Sarah these are incredible. I love the grain and the rawness to these images, just stunning. Your kids are so beautiful!

    2. Oh Sarah…these are so good. How freeing to have ZERO editing to do…I bought a film body about 6 months ago and it still has my first unfinished roll in it. Maybe I should finish it.
