M4H P52 Weekly Eye Candy Post | Euphoria
It is that time again! I swear it gets harder and harder to pick favs each week because you all just get more and more fabulous and creative! I also LOVE to read all your captions on your images. Such wonderful stories you all share!!
We are heading to Cali this week and won’t be back in time to post next week’s Eye Candy post (we leave Sunday but its a 18 hour drive) So the Eye candy post for next week will go up most likely Tuesday before we head off again for Connecticut (we are flying this time lol!) We will definitely be all traveled out by the time we make it back home huh?! Just in time for the littles to start school again. I have drafted the Themes and they are scheduled so even if I don’t get to repost them on the fan page like I usually do they will be here for you so make sure you check in next Sunday for your theme.

We just bought our first house and it has a wonderful 1.5 acre backyard with a nice wooded area as well! My boys just love playing back there, and I love the wonderful light in the wooded area 🙂

Euphoria to me is being the mama to these precious boys and to be able to capture these moments between the two of them! These moments have become all the more special in capturing as a little over a month ago we got some potential bad news regarding the “baby” during a routine dr appointment! Thankfully we are in the clear at the moment and I continue to thank God for the good health of my boys when so many others are not as fortunate!

My baby girl had surgery on her eye this morning to relieve a blocked tear duct. Those moments holding her as she was coming out of the anesthesia allowed me to breathe a sigh of relief that we were through this.

I was just reunited with my camera after 3+ weeks while it was being repaired. No back-up, no p&s, no iPhone, no pictures. I missed some big events; the 4th of July, Family Reunions. More than anything, though, I missed capturing little, everyday moments. I know three weeks is just a blip, but I feel absolutely euphroric to have her back. This is one of the first photos I took after I danced my way to the camera shop to pick her up! 🙂

The road has puddles that look like glass

I love this picture of my son. He is in total super hero phase right and now has been waiting patiently to enjoy this monster sucker. This is what heaven looks like when you’re four.
Ever wake up one morning and feel like everything you’ve produced, shared, and sold isn’t really “you”? I did that today. I have a vision in my head of what I want the edit on this photo to look like. I started over this morning, after an hour last night on this one photo. It’s closer to want I want. I just don’t know how to get to there from here. Sorry for the vent, I figured that, if anyone would sympathize, those on here would.

This year is going by too fast I can’t even remember which week it is, so I hope I’m right 😉 It is amazing to me just how many times a day I see euphoria in my children’s eyes. I had no idea before this week’s theme, but now I see just how happy they are. It makes me feel like I’m doing something right in this struggle called parenthood. I can only hope as the years go by, they hold that same euphoric smile.

My father in law is a really shy man. He keeps to himself and his family means everything to him. He is a great dad and a SUPER great granddad. A cuddle with his grandchildren means the absolute world to him. Sort of makes me want to “bottle” the moment”!

This isn’t capturing euphoria, perse…but I have only been shooting manual since last fall and one of my biggest obstacles is shooting in full mid day sun and getting a great shot. I have been trying to challenge myself as much as possible to learn and grow and so I took this shot yesterday at 2pm at the top of a parking garage, and the fact that it turned out makes me feel very euphoric indeed!

The thrill I feel before a performance (when I was still dancing) can really only be described as euphoria. It’s a complete rush that I missed and so grateful to have once again a month ago when I went back to my old ballet studio in Tacoma, WA to perform in an alumni performance. I bet our ballet teacher we were all doing this for was looking down on us and smiling. I miss her terribly but she gave me something I will never be able to put into words and with that she is always with me

I had this recliner chair my mom got for me while on a family visit and I finally got it out on my deck. Thinking it would require some assembly I held off until now, plus it’s getting slightly cooler than a bajillion degrees out lately. Turns out it just folded out all done, no assembly. After the last few weeks lately of loads of projects and more upcoming, sitting in that chair made it all melt away as I lay there almost falling asleep, so comfy and euphoric. It’s the simple things that make a difference 🙂
