M4H Project 52 | Simplicity

In case you missed it last week be sure to read EVERYTHING because there is a slight change to the program! πŸ™‚

I can not believe we are on week FIVE already! We have been at this over a month! I am totally digging all your beautiful entries! I have had a off week and haven’t been online as much trying to really soak up time with my kiddos before we head to Vegas for WPPI in a couple of weeks. Being away from the babies is SO hard for me! I totally apologize for not being as tuned in. I guess I am trying to find a way to balance things a bit better so I can spend more time with my children, enjoying them and not just recording everything! My entry for last week will be up on Monday (if not sooner) in an attempt to be better at unplugging.

If you are new to Project 52 you can absolutely jump in anytime! All the details on how to enter and play along are right HERE. (Very first weeks post explaining everything.) Also keep in mind you do NOT need to use any of my photoshop or lightroom resources to play along. And you definitely do not need to follow the theme. You are welcome to go off on your own way with this!

Last week I admit I pretty much stumped myself and waited until today to get my photo LOL! In my defense between fighting an abscessed tooth, family health issues and a huge giveaway that just came to a close its been pretty busy around here. In fact I will not be around at all tomorrow and am taking the day off to unplug and relax and enjoy my family. I can’t remember the last day I really took “off”. In fact I think I am going to be making a habit of taking more time away to spend with my family so I will most likely be setting business hours and sticking to them. You are all probably like yeah right.. LOL!

This week’s theme came to me unexpectedly. I was trying to get the “right” photo for last week (funny and ironic seeing the theme was imperfection) and I thought it would be amazing to focus on something bait cleaner. Head back to the basics. So the theme this week is “Simplicity.” I can’t wait to see all your interpretations!!

I noticed going through the Flickr group and commenting a few people were upset that they didn’t get till Sunday to upload their winning photos so things are going to be slightly different. I am going to be featuring the winner of the weeks theme the day after the theme goes up to give everyone a little more time. So for now on MONDAY will be the day the winner is posted along with my favs for the week. The actual theme will still go up on late Saturday or early Sunday though! Thought it would help you all out that really want some time to enjoy your family and relax a bit!! It will also give me time to really work on the post while my kiddos are in school and keep the hours I hope to be establishing so I can spend more time with my own children!

So I will be back MONDAY with my choices for the week along with the winner!!!

Can’t wait to see what you are up to!!

I have enjoyed the challenge of the project and experiementing with my new camera, my son (4yrs old) has been begging me to take pictures and “share” my camera with him so he can take pictures too. So it’s fun to see what he likes to photograph too, he takes some decent shots too!
      Thank you!

I’ve enjoyed the M4H 52 Project immensely and it has already stretched me, mulling over the themes for the ‘right’ idea for me. It’s been fun and I want to thank you for hosting this project!
