Monthly Personal Project | What Exploration Looks Like

I admit this post will be a bit hasty! I tend to come back and edit and add more photos and of course a bit of a story behind my images. It has been absolutely insane around here. We have been whisking the kids between doctors appointments, and trying to get them out to enjoy the beautiful weather and tomorrow yields yet another very busy day. I did want to be sure I did get this up though so it was on time.

We have been out exploring the amazing Colorado landscapes around here and it has been absolutely amazing. My oldest daughter Lillian has made a great bunch of girlfriends so she wasn’t in my photos for this post. ๐Ÿ™ But I do plan to hold her hostage at some point and get her in front of the camera lol! Oh those glorious preteen years! Just last year it seemed SO easy to get her in pictures. Actually she was the easiest of my brood. I can see its going to be quite a bit of work this year!

These photos were taken at a beautiful area near Fort Collins we came upon! I have many more I fully intend to finish playing with and posting but I had to get at least a few up tonight!

Be sure to follow onto the talented Becky Earl for her monthly post! You can find that HERE.

    8. What fantastic shots! I have to say..I am super jealous that you get such great images of your kiddos. My 4 year old hates the camera. I know it’s the age, but he runs when I bring it out. My twins are easy for now (almost 1) so I will just soak them up with the camera ๐Ÿ™‚

I love the curls your baby girl’s hair! And that chicken shirt cracks me up!

PS…Talk about your “Sparkle” theme, dude you nailed it with the bokeh on the water! ๐Ÿ™‚

    9. You are an amazing lifestyle photographer. I love all your perspective here and the light in your daughters hair is SO magical!

Oh my gosh, Sarah…these are breathtaking! I understand, the pre-teen years are tough. Hang in there! I was curious, why did you move from Connecticut to Colorado? Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say hello. As always, I do so enjoy all of your posts and great images! You are totally my inspiration! Peace!

    11. Crystal says:

Amazing photos (as usual). I love the one of the three guys in the sun. Quick off topic question – where did you get your daughter’s dress?!!!

    12. debbie says:

Great to see your boys, Sarah.

    13. Megan says:

There’s something about pink ruffles, blonde curls and dirt that just WORKS.
