Hi Everyone!!

This is one of those posts I have been meaning to do for ages! I definitely plan on doing lots more as well but I wanted to give you a quick idea of what my process looks like when I use my own photoshop actions! There are so many ways to use M4H actions. I also plan to make my actions even more customizable in the future by adding lots of fun tweak able layers because I know personally I love to play and tweak everything to my own taste! Actions are not a one size fit all business and we are not going to get the same result photo to photo. Especially when we are working with a ton of different lighting conditions, skin tones, etc etc. So here is just a couple of photos with what I have done with them right on the photos. My process is pretty straight forward as I didn’t do very much. Here ya go!

Oh and as a precursor I am a HUGE fan of color balance adjustment layers in Photoshop! I def intend on writing a tut on how t use those and how best to get some awesome results using them with my actions so be on the lookout for that!

This is my jumping off point. This is me running the action on my sooc image! Love the effect already, (this is def one of my favorite actions!!) You can find it in the Freshly Vintage set! But shes looking a bit to red for me!

Here is with a Color Balance Adjustment layer introducing more Cyan and more Yellow to bring the skin tones to somewhere visually pleasing to me.

And lastly here I ran the action Basic Editing from the Photographer’s Tool Box. I turned the levels adjustment layer (the second one down from the top) and I also turned the third curves layer down to 80 percent. That is it!! Besides this being web sharpened there is nothing else that has been done to this photo! I hope that helps a little!!
