When I have the honor of photographing a family… I find beauty in their moments. Their glances. The way they embrace each other both physically and in every spiritual way possible. There is just a harmony. A common heartbeat. A depth that inspires me. It truly motivates me forward. I want so much just to witness them and hopefully capture something special for them. There is something so beautiful in simplicity and in just allowing them to be themselves. I do direct a bit but my goodness when things evolve naturally it creates something so beyond anything I could conjure up.

And I just love that.
This family personifies that for me. They are just pure light. And I am honored to have gotten to capture this Mama twice now. I hope to see her again and again because she is a very special soul.
