M4H Project 52 “Green” Winner and Eye Candy

Jumping right into our eye candy for the theme “Green.” With Autumn season approaching here in the US I know there is going to be so many lovely colors bursting out of everywhere in the state I live in. I will miss all the green come winter though so this is my last hurrah of sorts!! You all pretty much knocked it out the park.

Sometimes nature paints the prettiest pictures… that are impossible to capture with anything but the naked eye.

This was shot through the car wind-shield in the middle of a slight rainy drizzle on our way up a hill in the middle of our beautiful Pacific Northwest in Tofino, BC.

I was on my way out the door with my oldest to take advantage of the low-humidity and pretty light, when our neighbor across the street said, “Hey Ella- while I was cleaning out my basement, I found something that I think you might like!” And she handed her a pair of green fairy wings. It’s amazing how something so seemingly small can transform an entire evening when you’re five.

I actually had an idea in mind for this weeks theme. But then I passed by the kids’ bathroom to see this little chickie perched on the counter playing with her lip gloss and looking very pleased with herself. So I grabbed my camera and caught the moment instead!
