M4H P52 “Sweet” Winner and Eye Candy

I can’t believe this is the very last week of not only our Project 52 for 2013 but the last couple of days of this year as well! It has been a beautiful year in our Flickr pool and it’s been such an honor to watch your progress. We are getting ready to embark on this special Project for the third year in a row, introducing some awesome changes including our new Facebook group. I have seen some familiar faces which makes my heart happy and I know some of you are also taking a break or moving on and I want to take a moment to say Thank You. Thank You for being amazing and sharing a little bit of your heart each week. It has been such a pleasure.

Please accept my apologies as I know many locations are not represented. Because of the size of the map (small!) I could only put one pin for each state, etc. I also feel bad that my use of a shallow depth of field diminished our friends across the Atlantic, but the image I took straight on just wasn’t very interesting. I took a second picture with our sweet Aussies in mind and am going to try to put it in the comments section. 🙂

“Sweet”……..the word that came out of his mouth when he opened this book. Sweet that he has such an old soul and loves things like the Beatles, record players, The Three Stooges, etc.

Sweet that I almost made it all 52 weeks. 😉 I’m excited for the new year of P52.

My Sofia is such a sweet big sister. This morning she wanted to read one of her new books to her baby sister. She won’t start her day without giving baby Grace a kiss and a hug, and she wants to hold her all the time.

This has been a pretty sweet year, with love and laughter, happiness and joy in my family. We may not have everything we want, and we may have tough times. But all in all, we are living a sweet, sweet life. And I can only hope for as much in 2014 xo

It has been sweet to see my husband a father to all of our children. It’s funny but when you marry someone, you don’t realize how beautiful it can be to see them as a parent. You can’t even imagine it. But then it happens, and makes you love them even more. This was one of those moments I felt that.

There are many things I find sweet about this image. My sweet little girl in her new little dress trying her best to make these tiny flowers fly away by blowing on them. I think the sweetest part though is what brought us to this location. My husband came home from work on this day and said “Get the kids dressed and grab your camera….we are going to find you an awesome location for pictures.” He said it was one of my Christmas presents from him and the kids. How sweet is that? Oh…and this location is really really SWEET!!! So excited to explore it more.

This wasn’t where I thought I was going with this weeks theme. But…it just seems perfect. Today is my anniversary. I have been married to this wonderful guy for 24 years. He’s my rock, my friend, a terrific father and grandfather…my list could go on and on. We laugh a lot. He’s my calm side…it takes a lot to ruffle his feathers. He’s enabled me to be the stay at home mom I always dreamed of being. So, to say he & the life we have together is sweet , seems pretty fitting…but it’s certainly only a small part of who he is and what he means to me/us. Love this card he gave me…the sentiment is so true.
We are blessed…we have a wonderful life.
