The Sound of Music

The sweetest family met me in the mountains for a surprise session for Mama. I have never met a more soulful or inspiring crew. I love their hearts and the moments they gave me.

Healing in Art

It has sure been a year of high and lows, but being able to channel pain into art brings healing... and beauty. We played and cuddled and splashed in the Colorado Mountains.

Peace

Every family I photograph has a story all their own. Like each one of us, the commonality is that even though it isn’t always happy or easy or uncomplicated, they are beautiful.

M4H P52 Weekly Theme “Simple”

Often times, especially with photography, the simple things are the most beautiful. It also gives us a chance to stretch our imagination, because the simplest images can be the hardest to capture. I can’t wait to see how you interpret this week’s theme.

Have a wonderfully simple pic that would be great for this theme. Unfortunately I am out of state and can’t get any pics off my camera until we get back home Wednesday. 🙁
