  1. M4H Project 52 | Weekly Theme “Time” | Join Us! Info Here

I can not believe this is the last week of the year! 2012 just flew on by. And with that a new Project 52 is beginning. I suppose this week’s theme can also serve as the very last of this year as well as the very first of the new one!!

our Project 52 Flickr pool can be found at http://www.flickr.com/groups/m4h

I invite you all to follow a long and grow and be inspired with me!  What is this project?! Simple. A photo a week for every week of the year. 52 weeks. You will come out of this project hopefully feeling fulfilled, with a memento of every week of the year. Something special for you. Whether you are a hobbyist or a seasoned professional this is something that you want to do to! Why?! Because it isn’t about your clients, it isn’t about perfection. Its about you. Its about your family, your life. So lets begin this journey together. I know that as a team, as a group we can do this. We can hold each other accountable. We can make this happen. I also promise you will see growth by sticking with this. I have seen tremendous growth in last year’s Project 52 participants (whom I hope to see again this year!!)

For those just joining us there is info pertaining to the project HERE.

For those just jumping in here is some additional information.

The goal of this project is to take a photo every single week of the year. I post new themes right here on the blog every Sunday. I usually link them up on the fan page as well but be sure to check here if you don’t see anything there. They can go up just about anytime during the day but I try to get them up first thing in the morning and I am on Mtn time (2 hours behind eastern time zone). On Mondays I post what I call Eye Candy. I choose images submitted to our Flickr pool to feature. I choose one winner and then I feature a good handful of images that caught my eye. You can find the flickr pool HERE. Here is an outline on how the project works.

-The theme I provide is purely optional. You do NOT have to use the theme. It is just a prompt for those interested. If it doesn’t appeal to you or you want to go your own way you are free to choose your own or not use one at all.

-To be considered as a winner the image must be taken that week for the theme. Eye Candy need not be taken that week but the point of the project is to have a new photo a week for every week of the year. This project is about you. About your memories.

-You need not use any of my processing tools to submit images to the flickr pool. It is completely okay to edit your images or process them in any manner you like!

    – I choose images from the Flickr pool because the coding is all set up for me so it is easier to share. It also eliminates me having to self host them. I don’t mind you linking your fan page or anything else in your links but note that they links should be pasted plainly. If they are hard to copy they may not be included.

-You may absolutely share your weekly images on my fan page as well!!

_There is a Project 52 Category in the drop down menu up top of the blog so you can navigate through those to seek past blog entries!

-The weekly winner will win a Gift Card to my shop each week. If anyone is interested in sponsoring prizes please be sure to message me via the contact form on this blog.

    This week’s theme is: Time

It can be absolutely any take on this you choose!! Be sure again to post them to the Flickr pool linked above so we can love on them and so it may be shared for Eye Candy. If you wish to not have your image chosen to Eye Candy posts you can absolutely opt out by not posting in the Welcome!! I hope you will all join us!!

And as a way to really honor and show off some of our P52 participants here is a few photos shared from last year:

  2. A Few of my Favorite things | A Year in Review

Last year I decided to do a Year in Review type post. This was basically just a way of saying thank you to my AMAZING clients. Acknowledging another wonderful year. Taking a moment to look back at all the new and fabulous people that entered my life because anyone that has had a session with me knows how I like to friend my clients LOL (okay stalk just a little but in a non creepy kinda way I promise!) This year was so full though that I couldn’t just stop at client work. I had to throw in a few personal shares for good measure. So many beautiful opportunities opened up for our family. We traveled and road tripped.. a lot. We saw new places. We experienced new things. It was just amazing all around. I did take less sessions to accommodate my family and all the crazy traveling but I got SO many more photos of my children then I ever normally would so it was a complete blessing. You can also follow our year in a more personal fashion via instagram HERE. There are seriously so many I could share. We went to CT THREE Times, Vegas once and California so it was a pretty busy year.

Here is our year in photos!

Got the stomach flu to kick the year off. No fun.

Got Cozy in our new Apartment in Colorado after moving cross country not even a month earlier from Connecticut.

Spent a lot of time indoors playing with the littles.

Got out and did some exploring.

And completely fell in love with our new home state.

Began eating as a family again. That was a big one for us. We tend to do our own thing and this was a huge goal of mine.

My Sister Came to live with us!

Went back to CT to see family and unfortunately to say good-bye to a family member that lost his battle with diabetes. Got to love all over my baby niece.

Did some commercial work for the measure.

Photographed this beautiful family. First session in Colorado.

Did the Clickinmoms “I am a Photographer” project.

Entered Double digits with my oldest.

    Made lots of new Friends.

Celebrated Easter with the littles and my sister!

    Pick-nicked in the park.

    Turned Three Years old.

    Man she is cute!

Did a bunch of Sessions in New England.

Had some fun with my own family in CT!

Spent time at the pool back home!

Spent time in the Mountains with the Littles.

Did More Commercial work for My Little Jules.

Moved into a House and the littles finally have their own backyard!

Shot a wedding (That i still need to blog!)

Did a bunch of sessions in Colorado!

Lived it up. Took a bunch of Lifestyle photos of the kids.

    Turned 8.

    Turned 6.

    Decorated for Christmas.

    And celebrated traditions.

To be Continued next year! 🙂
