M4H P52 “Addicted” Eye Candy

Two eye candy posts in a row I am on a roll huh?! LOL. I am determined to get all caught up and I have been loving all the gorgeous images in the flickr pool and on Facebook as I have been getting reacquainted online. I had a feeling this theme might be a bit difficult to interpret but you all really nailed it and I love all the different ideas and images you all came up with. As always it was NOT easy to pick and choose amongst ALL the gorgeousness this week! Let’s get right to it!

My 3 year old loves flowers, in fact she will pick them wherever she goes. Today we found a hillside filled with flowers (soursob weeds!) that she just HAD to pick. I’d call it an addiction 😛

The My Four Hens Project 52 theme this week is addiction! Whenever I have to drive for more than 30 minutes, I have to chew gum or munch on candy to stay alert. My favorite choice is Skittles and I find myself picking them up at the store even when I don’t need to drive. So when I read this week’s theme, I knew I had to pay homage to my favorite candy addiction… I’m addicted to the rainbow!

We went on a walk down a little dirt road in our neighborhood last night to see the llamas. Of course I brought my camera along. The light was unbelievably pretty. I snapped 3 photos and my battery went DEAD. Sigh. So frustrating but I guess 2 decent images out of 3 is not to shabby. I just keep imagining all the images I could have taken in this light. I know, I’m {addictied} (at least that is what my husband says)…

Well I thought a photo of 50 Shades of Grey would be a little boring, so instead – when the opportunity arose for this capture I knew straight away I would use it for my photo of the week.
Yes I’m addicted to being behind the lens, but even more addicted to my ‘camera eyes’. I can’t help myself, that’s how I know I’m addicted. My camera eyes you ask?

I love that I have many personal memories I have captured and am now able to cherish because of my photography… but what I love even more is that I have the wonderful ability of looking at things differently. With a different perspective and with a new appreciation.

Photography has bought life even more alive for me. And for that I will be forever grateful for my addiction I like to call ‘camera eyes

My addiction is watches as you can tell. Where ever I go I always stop and look at the watches in the case. I usually tend to buy one if its something I don’t have. I haven’t really sat down to count them mainly because I am afraid to know how many I have.

The word addicted is a strong word to me, therefore, I was unable to come up with a simple photo for this theme. Understanding why someone is addicted became something I needed to do as I grew up which lead me into a degree of Psychology and Substance Abuse counceling. When people are addicted, it can destroy a family.
