Remembering those we Love | Waterford, CT Photographer

I was so excited for this session! Miss S’s house was invaded by sickies and we had to reschedule at a time I knew there was going to be full sun. As most photogs know full sun can be so scary but we had a total blast and got some great photos in the mean time!

S unfortunately lost her mom to Lung Cancer last year. Sarah had mentioned the color for lung cancer is white so I grabbed some white balloons on the way to session and they released them to honor her. It was a very touching moment. I can only imagine how hard it must be to raise little ones without your own mom. This mama is so incredibly strong though. I seriously admire her.It really reminded me to enjoy life and the ones I love that much more because we take them forgranted unintentionally sometimes and we aren’t guaranteed forever.  We aren’t even guaranteed tomorrow. Anyhow..

Her kids were absolutely gorgeous to boot! The bluest of blue eyes I had ever seen! And wow they were sweet and SO full of energy! The session went soooo quickly!

Hope you enjoy S! I will have your full gallery to ya tomorrow honey!

It is funny that last shot is quickly becoming one of my faves of this entire season. I usually avoid dappled light like the plague but something about it here is kind of majestic!!

I honestly had such a wonderful time!! I get to do maternity photos with S’s sister this weekend too so I am seriously looking forward to that!!

Lots of love and thanks for peeking!

    Sarah

      Once more fantastic shots!
I like how you always write about your clients, very personal and I realize with how much heart you are with each session!

So sweet! Couldn’t help tear up with my own mom dx in August with metastatic lung cancer. The images are beautiful and love the lollipop. We’re bringing one Saturday!
